I believe AI is among humanity’s most significant innovations, and I’m excited to pursue new discoveries in this field.
I've been a part of two academic research organizations and previously worked as an NLP Research Engineer at the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute. During my undergraduate studies, I was awarded TÜBİTAK 1001 Research Funding Program scholarship.

COSMOS AI Research Group, Yildiz Technical University
I was one of the founding members of COSMOS, the NLP nonprofit research group led by Prof. Mehmet Fatih Amasyalı, publishing cutting-edge Turkish LLMs and research papers.

- Open-source Turkish language models that top popular leaderboards
- The first Deepseek R1-like "thinking" Turkish LLM↗
- Research papers accepted by leading conferences and cited many times
- Innovative products (COSMOS Mobile, COSMOS LLM, COSMOS VLM) that let users try language and vision models through a practical interface
- Teams formed by our members earned 4 degrees in TEKNOFEST, along with numerous prizes in other hackathons

- Creating pipelines to extract LLM-friendly data from PDFs
