• Data Scientist, Odeon Software & Technology (May 2025– Present) i At Odeon Software, a subsidiary of Coral Travel Group, I’m currently working on:
  
  - Building an agent system where users can book holiday reservations by speaking.
  - Building an internal tool where HR can upload multiple resumes and assess candidates in a chatbot interface
  - Mentoring interns during their internship
• NLP Research Engineer, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM (Sep 2024– Mar 2025) i I was part of the Turkish Large Language Model Project, where we were developing state of the art Turkish LLMs. I was involved in every stage of the pipeline- including data collection, pre-training, fine-tuning, evaluation and inference- and primarily focused on building the most effective evaluation systems tailored to Turkish LLMs.

• AI Engineer Intern, CBOT (Jun 2024– Jul 2024) i At CBOT I participated in developing custom LLMs and implementing chatbot solutions for corporate clients such as Halkbank, Pegasus, and Getir. I worked on fine tuning a LLM for intent classification of user inquiries on a bank’s chatbot with ~99% accuracy.

• Researcher, Boğaziçi Text Analytics and BioInformatics Lab (Jul 2025– Present) i
• Co-Founder& Researcher, COSMOS AI Research Group (Dec 2023– Sep 2025) i I was one of the founding members of COSMOS, the NLP research group publishing cutting-edge Turkish LLMs and research papers.
  
  The role I had in COSMOS:
  - Building LLM evaluation systems
  - Creating pipelines to extract LLM-friendly data from PDFs
  - Contributed to training open source Turkish LLMs that top popular leaderboards
  - Developing COSMOS App Store & Google Play apps
  - Participating to conferences, exhibitions and hackathons.
  - Social media management, communications and recruitment.
• AI Specialization Program Participant, T.C Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanlığı (Dec 2023– Jul 2025) i I was one of the 120 invited participants who successfully completed the program. Over 8 months, we received training from BAYKAR, Arçelik, Huawei, HAVELSAN and TÜBİTAK on various topics related to AI& parallel computing on NVIDIA CUDA platform. I worked with İlknur Dönmez from TÜBİTAK on my final project about modeling financial markets with AI.
• Research Scholar, TÜBİTAK 1001 Research Funding Program (Mar 2024- Jan 2025) i I was a research scholar for TÜBİTAK’s “Cooperative Language Models” project.
